Equine Assisted Learning & Riding
Our instructor is a dual PATH and EAGALA certified therapeutic riding instructor and has experience as a Mental Health Counselor. She loves helping her clients achieve balance, healing, and health. Our sessions are focused on physical and emotional development as well as riding skills.
Horsemanship & Riding Sessions
Geared towards youth, teens, and adults. We meet weekly, for either a half an hour or an hour, and teach horsemanship, care, grooming, and riding skills. Beginning dressage, jumping, and basic western. Private, semi-private and groups sessions are available.
Junior Horsemanship & Riding Sessions
Youth and toddler riding program. Geared but not limited to ages 2-7. We focus on teaching safety, grooming, care and beginning riding. Perfect introduction to horses, different disciplines and games. Sessions typically last half an hour. Both private and semi-private sessions are available.
Certified Level 1 USA Archery instructor. Mounted Archery enthusiast. Mounted archery course is currently under construction on property.
Cart Driving
Miniature pony “Pepper” is a trained cart horse and loves to give rides. She can pull up to 1000 pounds and will utilize the mounted archery trail on property once work on it is completed.
Training
Our training philosophy is based on utilizing correct bio mechanics, as well as a combination of natural horsemanship and R+ training. Each horse is an individual and our trainers approach each horse based on that horse’s needs and personality. Our trainers are experienced in gentling, starting, and intermediate training and will work with you and your horse to get the optimal results.
Volunteer Opportunities
We have a small group of amazing volunteers who are helping us to improve our property and care for our horses. We have a lot of fun and sometimes get pretty dirty in the process of work and play!
