Serendipity Equine is run on the power of our volunteers! If you
would like to spend time with our horses and kids, give us a call or an
email at serendipityequines@gmail.com
Here are some of the ways you can help:
Feeding/Chores Shifts
We are always looking for volunteers to
help feed, fill water buckets and muck stalls. AM and PM shifts
available. This is a great way to learn about horse care!
Riding Session Volunteers
Help with lessons! Volunteers help us by
bringing horses to and from their paddocks, helping our riders groom and
tack, and by leading and side walking in our lessons!
Facility / Program Maintenance
Want to help but not so interested in
horses? Maybe you are better with a weed wacker, a can of paint or doing
office work? We’d love to have you!! We always need help with facility
maintenance or managing our files.
Event Planning
Serendipity has plans in the works to hold
several fundraising events every year. If you are good at events or
fundraising, we could use your help!!
Community Service
Serendipity is a non-profit community service agency.
Become an Instructor
We are always looking for new people to
help teach our kids. We are happy to facilitate training to become a
Certified therapeutic riding instructor!”
Volunteer Requirements
Volunteers must be at least 12 years of age. Exceptions may be made
for current riders at Serendipity or other barns. Volunteers must be
physically and emotionally able to be safe around horses and follow
directions of staff at all times. Working outdoors with horses is
physically demanding.
